Here are some books and movies I recommend. These are all books I have personally reviewed; most of them I have reviewed here.
The Amazon site doesn’t fit on the screen very well, but there are several categories to choose from (scroll to the right to see the categories.) If you click on a link and buy the book, I’ll earn a few cents! If you’re interested in books and to expand your knowledge of religion, I’d recommend these.

Oh, I was hoping to see more in the way of movies here. I really liked “The Other Side of Heaven” with Anne Hathaway and Christopher Gorham
Yes, I should add that one. It is one of the better Mormon movies.
Recommend adding this book “Who Really Wrote the Book of Mormon?” by Cowdrey, Davis and Varnick
kevin it’s actually: The Spalding Enigma-Who Really Wrote the Book of Mormon?
One of the unique features is for the first time we were able to disprove the consistant Mormon denial that Sidney Rigdon ever lived or was in Pittsburgh,PA.when Solomon Spalding lived or visited there in the 1812-16 period.
In our book we show that Spalding actually suspected Rigdon for removing the Ms. he submitted for publication, but it was later returned!
We have Rigdon in the Commonwealth newspaper on the mail lists to pick up letters along with not only Solomon Spalding, but his brother John,a teacher, who was one of the person’s who testified about his brother being the true author of the BOM.
Rigdon lived in Library,PA. about 10 miles from Pittsburgh during this time.
To travel 10 miles on horseback takes about 1-2 hours.
